Wall Sticker Hokusai – The big wave – round
Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese painter who lived from 1760 to 1849. His most famous woodcuts can be found in the series “36 Views of Mount Fuji”. He is one of the most important representatives of the ukiyo-e genre. Ukiyo-e means something like “images of the flowing world” and shows the attitude to life and the world view of the bourgeoisie and the broad majority of the population in large cities. Katsushika Hokusai started the ukiyo-e genre at the age of 15. He studied with many masters of the genre and attended many schools, which helped him in 1782 to write his first book with his own works.??The wall sticker is available in different sizes.
